RSME Belgrade 2024
Welcome to the official page of the 4th Regional Symposium of Young Endocrinologists (4RSYE), which will be held in Belgrade, from April 12 to 14, 2024, in the impressive setting of the Yugoslav Cinematheque. The 4th RSYE Belgrade 2024 will last three inspiring days and will gather participants from six different countries, creating an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of endocrinology.
The purpose of the Symposium
The 4th RSYE aims to promote cooperation and education among young experts from the region in the field of endocrinology. This symposium provides an opportunity to discuss the latest research, diagnostic methods, and therapy in endocrinology, and strengthen ties between young experts from the region who will work together to improve and connect clinical practice and research and thus shape the future of this discipline.
History
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Section of Young Endocrinologists of the Croatian Society for Endocrinology and Diabetology (HDED – www.hded.hr) launched the Regional Symposium of Young Endocrinologists. The first two symposia were held online, in May and November 2021, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the Symposium has grown and developed, becoming a key meeting point for young endocrinologists from different countries in the region. The 3rd RSYE was held in March 2023, when young endocrinologists from the region met in Osijek.
The 4th RSYE is organized by the Serbian Society for Adrenal Diseases and Cardiometabolic Endocrinology ADVANCE, the Serbian Society for Endocrinology of Gender MUMIA, with the full support of the Endocrinology Section of the Serbian Medical Society, the Section of Residents, Doctoral Students and Young Doctors of the Serbian Medical Society, as well as the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE).
Our Symposium in numbers
- The 4th RSYE will last 3 days, from April 12 to 14
- We expect over 200 participants from 6 different countries
- During this Symposium, a total of 6 sessions will be held with 18 expert speakers who will share their knowledge and experience
- More than 50 oral presentations by young endocrinologists and researchers will be held at the 4th RSYE
